The prudent are always eager to live peacefully with those opposite to them in creed, sex, and thoughts. They may aspire to mutual respect among the opposite parties or exercising justice over treatment. Few of them may aspire to intimacy and philanthropy even for once, namely to smile to each other and sometimes exchange gifts which makes peace prevails.

But to hold righteousness to the opposite in creed an obligatory in most aspects of life is never occurred to some one's mind!!

This is Islam that most humans worldwide are ignorant of, however; most of Muslims are so!!

God willing, I will tackle this matter through;

- The Prophet's righteousness to non-Muslims is a divine ordinance

The prophet's righteousness to non-Muslims is a divine ordinance

The magnificence of Muslims' dealing non-Muslims kindly is not out of human-made law that people may approve it or not. Rather, it lies in the fact that it is a divine ordinance of Allah, Almighty, namely Muslims devote themselves to worshipping Allah though it.

Allah, Almighty, says: (Allah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes - from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly), Al-Mumtahanah, 8.

How great is Allah! How merciful is God!

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) instructs Muslims to deal gently a group of humans refuses to submit to the call of Allah and disobeyed His Messenger and adopted a course opposite to that of Allah.

Muslims seek close to Allah through righteousness to those contrary to them in creed so long as the latter have not wronged Muslims or waged war against them.

The one may wonder for the word that Allah used in this verse which is only used in the noblest aspects of treating. It is used in family between parents on one part and children on the other. In this connection, the prophet was said: what is the dearest kind of deeds to Allah? the prophet replied: performing prayers in its exact time. The questioner said: what follows? The prophet replied: dutifulness to parents[1]).

Allah, Almighty, says (Never will you attain the good [reward] until you spend [in the way of Allah  from that which you love), Al-`Emran, 92.

The examples for this are a lot in both Quran and Sunnah which all pinpoints the value of righteousness to non-Muslims.
